In January 2013, she returned to Chennai to complete modules three and four emphasizing pranayama and degenerative diseases.
Gabrielle’s philosophy is that yoga is a life practice. One should view yoga practice with a broad scope to include meditation, prayer, chanting and singing, compassion in action, and breathing, as well as physical postures. Through a practice of yoga, we have the opportunity to discover our true nature and our purpose for being here (dharma).
Gabrielle has been teaching yoga and practicing music therapy since 2010. She has taught yoga at Prague Yoga in the Czech Republic and at One Tree Yoga in Omaha, NE, including a four-week series of yoga therapy. Gabrielle taught for two years in Minneapolis at Nokomis Yoga and Core Pilates. While in Minneapolis, Gabrielle practiced music therapy at Golden Living Center. Here she worked with an elderly population and people with mental health disturbances. In Austin, TX, she taught at SoCo Yoga with fellow Prajna yogi Jyl Kutsche where additionally, she led monthly kirtans.
